A Graduate Geotechnical or Geoenvironmental Engineer is required to join the geotechnical department in Cambridge, to work on a range of site investigation projects across East Anglia, the Home Counties and further afield. Candidates as a minimum should have a degree in a relevant subject, a full UK Driving license, excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) and a keen interest in learning new skills.

The role will involve a mixture of site and office based work, predominantly based around undertaking geotechnical investigation and contaminated land assessments. Graduate Engineers will be trained to undertake field tasks such as machine trial pit excavations, supervising borehole drilling, undertaking infiltration testing, ground gas and soil vapour monitoring, groundwater sampling and researching geological, hydrogeological, historical, topographical and environmental site information. You will also learn how engineers provide advice on ground conditions, foundation recommendations, soil infiltration, undertaking phase one and two contamination assessments and remediation verification.
