Harrison Group Data Manager Presents…

Harrison Group Data Manager, Conrad Stewart, delivered the second session at this year’s AGS Data Conference, held at Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum.

Conrad presented an overview of the future direction of the AGS data format, outlining key changes being introduced in the forthcoming version 4.2. Together with fellow members of the AGS Data Management Working Group, he also explored the emerging roadmap for the format, offering insight into how the industry can prepare for the next stage of digital data exchange in ground investigation. A draft of version 4.2 was released just before the event.

The conference also marked a milestone for Jackie Bland, Chair of the AGS Data Management Working Group, who was recognized for 15 years of leadership and contribution to the industry.

Later sessions at the conference covered a range of forward-looking topics, included the planned launch of AGS version 5, the inclusion of AI in ground investigation, and international perspectives on these advancements.
