A Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Engineer is required to join the geotechnical engineering division operating from the company’s Cambridge office, to work on a range of site investigation projects across East Anglia, the home counties, the south of England and further afield.

Candidates as a minimum should have a degree in a relevant subject, at least three years’ demonstrable experience in geotechnical site investigation and contaminated land assessment, a full UK driving license, excellent communications skills (both written and verbal) and a keen interest in learning new skills.

The role will involve a mixture of site and office based work, predominantly based around the specification, operation, management and interpretation of geotechnical and geoenvironmental investigation. You will have the opportunity to experience a large variety of projects, including assessing the ground conditions to inform the foundations and pavements for new residential and commercial developments, contamination assessments of brownfield land, part IIA assessments, slope stability and settlement assessments, producing remediation strategies and verifying their completion.
