The role will involve assisting a team of geotechnical engineers to create borehole, trial pit and other fieldwork and monitoring records, using excel add-ins to Keynetix Holebase SI software. The role also includes producing drawings and plans using Holebase SI software and exporting to produce detailed plans in autoCAD.
Demonstrating an attention to detail and a keen interest to learn new skills is essential. Prior knowledge of geotechnical investigation, geology and the environment is desirable, but not essential. However, an interest would help to comprehend the background to the records and drawings.
